University of Tennessee — Carousel Theater

A theatre in the round leaves nowhere for loudspeakers to hide. The design threads reinforcement, monitoring, and production communications through an exposed overhead grid shared with lighting and rigging, keeping coverage even for an audience seated on every side while preserving sightlines from the first row to the balcony rail.

Work spanned the full arc of the project — from steel and deck during construction through commissioning of the mix position, control rooms, and infrastructure that the resident company uses in performance today.
