Eton College — School Hall
Windsor, United Kingdom
Heritage hall reinforcement and presentation systems serving lectures, concerts, and ceremony.

About the project
School Hall is a listed memorial building asked to serve as a symphonic room, a lecture hall, and a ceremonial space at once. Its double colonnade and barrel vault scattered sound in ways that contradicted what the eye expected, and the heritage fabric ruled out any conventional gutting of the room.
The solution was additive rather than subtractive: transparent reflectors and carefully placed wall panels that reshape the room's geometry while leaving the historic interior legible, paired with reinforcement and presentation systems that stay visually quiet on the colonnade. I worked on the audio-video side of the fit-out and returned to commission it — dual-FFT measurement from the house, array alignment, and tuning across the room's several performance formats.
